RWD TV: Fazer, Robbie Savage, Emma Willis and Denise van Outen Battle It Out To Transform Your Patch

The stars of Pepsi Max's Transform Your Patch campaign fight for an additional £100,000 for their project.

Fazer, Robbie Savage, Emma WIllis and Denise van Outen are campaigning to help regenerate 165 outdoor spaces across the UK with the support of the public. Transform Your Patch aims to create great outdoor spaces including 5-a-side football pitches, playgrounds, picnic areas and parks and skate parks.

We caught-up with Robbie Savage last month to talk about his campaign to Transform 5-a-side pitches across the UK with Pepsi Max and his passion for grass-roots football, while Fazer is championing skate parks with support from Tango and Mountain Dew, Denise van Outen is campaigning for playgrounds supported by Robinsons and Robinsons Fruit Shoot and Emma Willis is fighting for picnic areas and parks with the backing of J20 and Lipton Ice Tea.

Transform Your Patch will run for nine months in total (February to October) and people can vote for a celebrity team and a project in their region from March to September 2012. The aim of the campaign is to regenerate around 165 outdoor spaces across the UK. To contribute is simple – every single soft drink purchased of any of the participating brands represents a real 1cm² piece of land that will be transformed. It’s a simple way for people across the UK to contribute to a long-lasting legacy on their patch.
