Special K Launch Food For Tweets ‘Tweet Shop’

Special K fans (all you Special K fans out there) you can grab a packet of Special K Cracker Crisps all for a Tweet.

So Special K is a bit girly (although we're not sure how a cereal managed to get girly, great marketting you'd expect) there's nothing girly about free food. In fact, we'd say it's the least girly thing in the world, that statement made with very little thought or consideration of the facts, because frankly, we can't be bothered. RWD are great champions of free food and would encourage any brands (including you guys at Special K) to send anything and everything over to the office whenever the urge should so strike...we're off track.

Special K are launching a new crisp range Special K Cracker Crisps (again, we'd love to taste them) and have set-up The Tweet Shop in London on Soho's Meard Street. The store, which opened at 9am today, is lined with hundreds of packs of crisps, a try before you buy snacking area (genius) and a community noticeboard that captures social media reaction to the unique retail space.

Upon entering The Tweet Shop, customers are encouraged to put away their money and pay for a packet of new Special K Cracker Crisps by simply Tweeting a message about the low calorie snack range and sharing the news with the wider Twittersphere. Which is tantamount to bribery, but it's snack-based bribery, which is basically how governments around the world operate, so if you want to make a complaint, take a look at what got that hole in the road outside your house filled. You're not as innocent as you think.

The Tweet Shop is open from 9am to 5pm until Friday September 28.
