While you may consider the telling of time to require all the effort of raising your wrist and not much else, there are of course the very real and far more crucial style implications of wearing a watch. So with a lack of respect for your desire to tell time with minimal fuss [look at your phone if you want do do it the fast way], RED5.co.uk are selling the Keypad Watch.
Based on your classic PC keyboard, hit any number on your Keypad Watch and the time will be displayed by lighting up the relevant buttons. So, if it was 08:30, first it would flash 0, then 8, then 3 and finally 0. If you were pressing to find out the time at 08:30 we're pretty sure the process of following the keys being lit would do a fairly good job of waking you up too. Pressing the # key will tell you the date using the same blinking light system. The keypad can be set to 12 and 24 modes. The watch also serves as a decent relief for work addicts such as ourselves who start to feel pangs of anxiety during extended periods of time away from our desks.
The Keypad Watch comes in two colours, the Amiga 500 white [genius] and the matte ZX Spectrum black. Priced at £59, you can buy now from RED5.co.uk.
