Princess Nyah dropped her Destroy and Rebuild EP this week.

Comprising a mix of her funky roots with the newer dubstep elements provided by collaborators Ill Blu, Champion and DJ Wonder the Destroy & Rebuild EP is a big statement about Nyah’s plans for 2012. Already the Wiley featuring Soldier has been getting radio reloads courtesy of Mistajam and last week saw Nolay and Nyah shoot a video to Artillery so don’t be surprised to be seeing some sick visuals hitting your screens soon.

Purveyors of all things urban, RWD Mag are hosting the next Big Chill Presents, bringing a jam-packed night of Hip Hop, House and RnB to the Big Chill House on Saturday February 25. DJ sets come courtesy of DJ Semtex, DJ Woody, DJ Supreme, DJ Chewy and a very special live acoustic set from Mr Adaggio to round things off!

Headlining the night is the legendary DJ Semtex; Dizzee Rascal’s official DJ and BBC 1Xtra radio host. With past credits including touring with hip hop legends the Wu-Tang Clan, Nas and the prince of reggae Damian Marley, it is safe to say that DJ Semtex will deliver some of the freshest urban beats to get your crunk on! With the creative flair as both a producer and a music entrepreneur DJ Semtex is definitely not one to miss!

Added to the mix is DJ Rattus Rattus, offering us a taste of his pure party mash up DJ sets that combine dark, dirty beats from dubstep, grime, bassline and electro to produce ear-thumping mixes. His past performances include stints at legendary underground nights Vagabondz and Bigger than Barry. On top of his tantalising DJ sets, DJ Rattus Rattus’ undeniable ear for a stomping track means he also selects acts for Urban Nerds, the infamous London party starters making waves on the scene. We can only expect a ground shaking, bass heavy performance from this man.

For those that like something a little different RWD bring you Mr Adaggio, a classically trained violinist who has channeled his skills into performing RnB and hip hop after he felt he wanted to reflect his surroundings in music more. Mr Adaggio has been playing the violin since the age of seve but it wasn’t until he got sucked into the rave scene and started listening to garage and bass music at 18 that he decided he wanted to try something new. He has performed strings on tracks for Ms Dynamite, Shystie, Estelle and played live alongside the likes of Macy Gray, The Game and Jennifer Hudson. His talents have also been welcomed at Glastonbury and London Fashion Week and at numerous events in Dubai. His first mixtape titled Murder In The Orchestra was recently released and he is also spends his time with his group, The Element, an experimental, RnB, pop, reggae collective.

Rounding things off will be London radio host and top promoter DJ Supreme and RWD favourite DJ Chewy. DJ Supreme is no stranger to rocking events, have previously warmed up stages for the likes of Jagged Edge, Joe, SWV, Ginuwine, Dru Hill and Lil Kim it is safe to say with them on the decks you will be dancing until the early hours.

Benny will be doing the damn thing on The MOBO Tour 2012 along with Smiler with the pair joining Youngman, Clement Marfo & The Frontline, Lady Leshurr, P Money, Josh Osho, Rascals and Cleo Sol for the exciting jaunt around the UK.
