In a couple of years Example’s going to come across his 2011 diary, read the entry for June 19, scratch his head and ask himself “How did I fit that all in?”

Example fought-off some pretty fierce competition from Ed Sheeran and Calvin Harris this week to extend his first stay at the UK singles top spot to a second week with his single Changed The Way You Kiss Me, something the singing/rapping/rave-machine was in the mood to celebrate, especially with his birthday just hours away [happy birthday Ex!]. So in conversation with his fans, Example let off a few lighthearted quips about Alexandra Burke secretly being 41 years old and The Saturdays not being all that great, In a move that would seem fairly unlikely had Example not been top of the UK single charts, both Alexandra and Rochelle from The Saturdays took offense to his comments.

While we all enjoy a bit of healthy banter between chart topping pop stars and were all entertained by Example making #rassclart a worldwide trending topic, Rochelle hinted at gang violence in response to Example’s jabs, guys, do we need mediation? We don’t want another Biggie and Tupac on our hands.

Simon Cowell reportedly wants to follow Britney Spears by using dubstep elements on the Leona Lewis album.

According to The Sun’s Bizarre column; Simon Cowell has instructed his A&R team at Syco to seek out dubstep production for Leona Lewis‘ third album. According to the paper Cowell isn’t interested in another Bleeding Love, “Simon Cowell’s Syco team have asked songwriters to hand them dubstep and dance tracks with traditional lyrics for the X Factor winner. And they’ve specifically stated no ballads. It’s a big change for her.” said a source.

They all want a piece of the Dubstep pie don’t they? Expect Alexandra Burke to go dubstep in 2013.

Just yesterday we were thinking, if only we could wear the same pants as Alexandra Burke, that would make our lives complete.

Alexandra Burke has cleverly placed herself at the centre of a man wall who can protect her from abusive passers by who have been not so much underwhelmed by her post X-Factor releases but genuinely offended by them. No of course not, she’s modeling her new underwear for 2KX, the fashion brand created by Burke and the JLS boys which will be released next month.

The nation picked her as the winner for series five of The X-Factor and now you can see why as Alexandra Burke will be performing live at the O2 Apollo in Manchester. You gotta love Alexandra Bruke, girl can sing her damn heart-out and the whole nation knows it, heck that’s why she won The X-Factor. Ms Burke is setting up to ignite the stage on 4 February 2011 at the O2 Apollo in Manchester and we’re sure it’s going to be one heck of a show.

The likes of Dizzee Rascal, Tinie Tempah, Plan B, N Dubz and many more have all been shortlisted for a number of awards at the upcoming BT Digital Music Awards taking place at London’s Roundhouse venue; the winners are predominantly chosen by you the public with some categories picked by industry insiders.

Tinie Tempah leads the way with four nominations, whilst Dizzee comes in with two and Pro Green, Plan B, Chipmunk, N Dubz, Example and Aggros Santos also get nominated in catagories including Best Male, Best Group, Best Video and Best Independent Artist.

So it’s up to you to make sure the best artist wins plus when you cast a vote for each category, post links back to the BT Digital Music Awards site and share posts on social networks, Twitter and Facebook, you will be entered into a prize draw to win VIP tickets to the event which includes; a table at the event with dinner and drinks, entry to the exclusive after party and an extra £1000 towards your accomadation, travel and spending money so you can live out the night in style.
