Right, Men’s Jewellery, Discuss…

New jewellery brand Shimla is becoming very popular with men, have views of men wearing jewellery softened since metrosexuality has become more common?

The new jewellery brand Shimla, named after the Shimla Valley in the Himalayas, has launched its semi precious stone and crystal range, already making quite an impression in a tricky market to crack. With a celeb following including JLS already tweeting and posting pictures on instagram of their favorite new accessory, things are looking very promising for the brand hoping to top its rival brands. If JLS’s entire fan base pick up on the Shimla wristbands it is bound to be a success! Although there are mixed views on men wearing jewellery, women generally disliking it and men adorning themselves to the max waering chains, rosary beads, leather cuffs (not a fan personally) and a number of other offensive items. The key to wearing jewellery as a bloke is to keep it simple, pick a statement piece, or just a few wristbands to compliment your outfit, don’t go over the top! Shimla seem to be onto a winner mixing semi precious stone with a muted colour palette, remaining understated but still making a subtle fashion statement. Check out the range for yourself at www.shimlajewellery.com, prices start from £40.
