We're fans of technical innovation in style, it's an innevitable next-step for fashion, especially when it comes to footwear. We're particularly into sustainability, which PUMA have in abundace with their colourful Re-Suede collection which takes one of the brand's most iconic silhouettes and re-tools it using recycled materials.
The original Suede was famous for its bright colours, suede fabric and custom lacing techniques, enjoying popularity in the 70s, 80s and 90s [if it aint broke] and its latest innovation sees the trainer developed using the latest materials and processes in eco-friendly product innovation.
The synthetic ultra suede upper material is created by Toray, leaders in the development of environmentally-responsible materials. The synthetic suede is comprised of 100% recycled polyester fibres and the outsole is made from Double R Rice Rubber.
The Re-Suede will be sold in PUMA's Clever Little Bag, a cutting-edge innovation in sustainable packaging that replaces traditional shoe boxes.
