China’s answer to Angelina Jolie, Li Bingbing, is soon to be seen tying her trainers and donning the lycra to represent China in the Olympic torch relay. Whilst the runners amongst us may typically choose to carry bottled water, energy bars, an iPod or even Vaseline, Bingbing will opt for an exclusive I-Gucci Sport watch specially engraved to commemorate the event.
Designed by Gucci’s Creative Director Frida Giannini, the I-Gucci Timepieces’ first digital watch and has been flying out of it’s glass encasement quicker than you can say Li Bingbing. The I-Gucci Sport collection is recognisable by a eye poppin’ perforated rubber strap in orange, cobalt blue or a more demure black. For the watch savvy or technically advanced, it boasts components including a chronograph, tachymeter, pedometer and a sailing function specifically designed for timing regattas...urrr what else would you ever need!?
