Dispair London have unveiled their collection for this season with the loafer design and bold blue hues dominating the range. Each loafer has its own unique detailing ranging from tassels and weaves to beautifully embellished designs. The new Broafer, Hamilton and Johnson styles are central to DISPAIR London’s loafer collection for SS12 and represent a mix of twists on the classic loafer silhouette. These features range from perforated uppers in the Hamilton and a brogue pattern in the Broafer. All styles have a casual slip on appeal and lightweight rubber sole that has become a customary feature of the brand.
Other new styles to the collection are the James, Oxo and Churchill. The James has a relaxed fit leather upper, contrasting leather laces and on trend white sole to reflect a more casual look whilst the Oxo’s brown suede and contrasting leather detailing, make it a smarter alternative. Finally, the Churchill features breathable perforated uppers in soft suede and supple leathers, resulting in a lightweight boat shoe unique to the brand and a perfect style for the summer season.
Follow through styles from AW11 in new colourways for SS12 include the Hoxton, Hackney and City. The Hoxton loafer is a trademark style for the brand, comprising of soft woven and low cut leather uppers that make the style both breathable and comfortable, with tassel detailing. Whilst the Hackney comprises of supple suede uppers and a contrasting leather buckle feature. The City is a more casual approach to the collectioncomprising of washed canvases and DISPAIR London’s signature EVA sole, creating a plimsoll style that can be teamed with almost every summer outfit. A new style to the collection is the Albion, comprising of suede uppers, contrasting leather laces and a thick rubber sole. This shoe creates another dimension to the casual styles of the collection.
DISPAIR London has also introduced a more sartorial edge to their SS12 collection in the Oxford Brogue. The Oxford brogue is a classic brogue design with a contrasting wedge sole and is available in orca tan and grey. The supple washed leathers used in this design, along with the classic lightweight EVA outsole make this smart style the perfect summer accessory for tailored shorts and rolled up chino’s alike.
