Yet to make his mark in-front of goal for England, Danny Welbeck's work ethic can't be faulted. Obviously a better player alongside Wayne Rooney, Sir Alex Ferguson is fine-tuning Welbeck into a future England international. He won't buckle under the pressure of playing up-top, but he might not have the experience to be fully effective.

We're edging closer and closer to our new manager [Roy Hodgson, who saw that coming?] and with that crucial decision nearing completion, it's time to focus on the major problems facing the squad ahead of the European Championships this summer.
