The Olympics are over. At least they were for us, the minute Jessie J walked on the stage and opened her mouth to sing the opening verse of We Will Rock you alongside Brian May.
But that’s only because we were tired, obviously. Not because we didn’t want to risk seeing Jessie J ruin one of Britain’s most iconic anthems, and taint the legacy of the London 2012 games in their entirety. Nope, definitely not. Tired.
In other Queen-related news, adidas recently gathered together a load of Team GB members, including Victoria Pendleton, Chris Hoy, Jessica Ennis, Nicola Adams and Louis Smith to mime the words to Don’t Stop Me Now, alongside a certain David Beckham.
Now, we’re not usually into miming (One Direction, we’re looking in your...direction) but when a bunch of gold medal winning, British heroes are doing it, with one this countries greatest bands' most iconic song playing over the top, the results are pretty spectacular.
