Sergio Aguero Suffers “Stupid Injury” But How?

We're taking bets as to whether Sergio Aguero's potential title deciding injury involved Mario Balotelli or not

According to Roberto Mancini, Sergio Aguero will miss Manchester City's weekend clash with Sunderland and possibly more, due to a "Stupid injury" but whatever could he mean?

Between Carlos Tevez going on a big fat Argentinian holiday for five months and Mario Balotelli's weekly headline grabbing antics, there appears to be something in the water at Carrington.

Keeping up with their weekly self-destruct disasters, Roberto Mancini confirmed today that lethal striker Sergio Aguero would miss the club's crucial tie with Sunderland this weekend and possibly more, with what he's cryptically referred to as a "stupid injury".

Probed further as to the nature of the injury, Mancini retorted "I prefer not to say." City have also been at the centre of controversy this week following a reported training ground fall-out involving who else but Mario Balotelli and with the club currently three-points off the coveted Premier League top-spot, it appears the walls are crumbling around the Blue side of Manchester in the crucial run-in.

Since Mancini is being so secretive about the injury, which he is only willing to say "Was not [Aguero's] fault", we're going throw out some speculation about the potential crock-age.

Sergio Aguero injured in Carlos Tevez shin-bititng incident.

Sergio Aguero was injured in training today following a seemingly random attack from international team-mate Carlos Tevez. Tevez who had been standing on the sidelines during an inter-club 5-a-side training tournament, was said to "Tweak when Aguero whistled for a through-ball from Gareth Barry" when the pass invariably fell metres away from the striker, Sergio allegedly spun around and yelled "Bad!" at Barry, which proved a prompt for Tevez to charge the pitch, pushing off both arms, before reaching a terrified Aguero and biting his shin.

Tevez tore through the striker's shin-pad, with his above-average strength molars, causing blood to gush from Aguero's leg. Roberto Mancini said of the incident "It is Tevez, if he apologises, I'm sure we will need him when our form falters later on in the season. I have sent him to the train on his own, but I think he went to Burger King"
