So you’ve decided to go off to uni/back to school/get a new job, what is it about the month of September that makes us embark on a new beginning for our weird and wonderful lives? I blame the change in season. There’s nothing like an on/off relationship with the sun to make you want to change your surroundings. In my case it was more, ‘Right, time to go and conquer the world,’ so I jumped in my Peugeot 205 (seriously, that was a car) and drove myself to Luton university, driving myself into a whole heap of glorious debt
at the same time. Those who are about to go off and do the same, we’ve rounded up Reggie Yates and a few celebs to tell you about their own stories of advance education chasing (or simply discuss their latest breast augmentation, in the case of Amy Childs). Meanwhile, Britain’s Got Talent stars Love- able Rogues, Bristol’s finest DJ/producer Redlight, Compton’s very own ‘good kid’ Kendrick Lamar, and Frodo Baggins himself, Elijah Wood, tell you about new chapters in their lives.
In the New Beginnings issue the biggest change is, of course, attributed to our cover star, Fazer, who has put the safety of award-winning N-Dubz to one side to pursue a solo career. With Rihanna, The Want- ed and co. banging down his door, we don’t blame him for seeking his own slot in the spotlight.
