Many mistake my Thor-like physique for a gym-going, bear-wrestling, mountain climber, but I assure you during my month of madness the only workout I get is from Microsoft Word, the only thing wrestled are deadlines and the only challenges of ascent are done on my Everest-like to do list (see below). Apart from the odd Player of the Season award obtained at Sunday League football and table tennis marathon in my garden, I keep my sporting prowess to an absolute minimum. That’s why we’ve dedicated this whole issue to people

of the same vein. Those who are convinced the act of turning up the volume on Match of the Day is the same as participating, the KFC eating experts who get tired at the smallest physical excursion and those who work up a sweat whilst watching women’s beach volleyball.

We also cater for the purest that give it their all week in, week out and hope words of wisdom from sporting flop, Eddie “The Eagle” Edwards, Upfront With... British basketball legend, Luol Deng, and this month’s Team GB One to Watch special including pooltastic diver Tonia ‘Get Us A Gold’ Couch quench your thirst. With athletic cover star, Keith Lemon – proficient in all things swingball – as Team GB’s secret weapon, we too hope they win the most “chocolate coins”.
