RWD goes dark in our After Hours Special!
Featuring: Professor Green, Top Boy, Fresh Meat
Of course, I am pretty much the opposite of a party animal. Me, I like to take it reeeaaallll quiet. A cup of tea, a pair of slippers and Coronation Street and I'm happy. What!? Who shouted 'Liar'? Ok, ok, so maybe I do like to party a little bit. Just a teeny-tiny small amount. I should probably know better at my age but hey, sometimes you don't live and learn. I would say - in all seriousness and sounding proper old - be careful when you drink. Alcohol poisoning is really not the one.
When it comes to partying, Professor Green, he's pretty good at it. Raised under the [once] hedonistic eye of Mike Skinner, and counting Example as a cohort, Green is certainly able to party hard when he wants. Who better than to front our After Hours Special?! The RWD team took on Mr. Manderson in a battle of kebab-eating, karaoke-performing, beermat-flipping proportions. Who won? You'll have to read, but all I'm saying is, it was a fix! We also talk to Green about his brand new album At Your Inconvenience, the brilliant follow-up to his No.2 debut Alive Till I'm Dead.
As this is an After Hours special, we take to the streets of Newcastle and the roads of Glasgow to see which town is the best for partying all day and all night in our HeadToHead regular, while the likes of Jodie Harsh and Annie Mac fill us in on their wildest nights out. Enough Already this month is dedicated to Hangovers. Please can't someone find a cure!
Our fashion Q&A this month is with Mark Ecko, while in Unwind we meet Kudo, the brilliant mind behind Kinect who fills us in not only on new developments in gaming but also his hangover advice! In About To Blow we meet racing driver Euan Hankey at Brands Hatch for a day of driving about in his Porsche Carrera. There's a number of brand new TV shows hitting our screens this month, we chat to the actors of new Channel 4 series Top Boy and meet the cast of Fresh Meat, including the Inbetweeners' Joe Thomas.
In the world of music we find out how LMFAO keep their grooming game on point, and meet One's To Watch Delilah and Mikill Pane, two brilliant new talents signed respectively to Atlantic and Jake Gosling's Sticky Company.
If that isn't enough to keep you up all night reading, I don't know what is! Enjoy!
