MEDIA SALES EXECUTIVE – WORK FOR AN EXCITING YOUTH LIFESTLYE MAG!

RWD the youth lifestyle magazine is currently recruiting for a Media Sales Executive to join the successful media sales team. As a Media Sales Executive you will sell print, online and creative media solutions directly to clients as well as media agencies. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experience sales executive, possibly working in classifieds and keen to work on a leading music, fashion and lifestyle title selling display advertising whilst receiving an excellent salary package, uncapped commission structure, the chance to work with some of the TOP youth brands in the UK and industry benefits!

Key responsibilities of Media Sales Executive:

• Selling predominately print and online advertising on a leading music, fashion and lifestyle titles
• Building long last relationships with clients and media agencies and gaining a full understanding of the client and brand
• Building a strong portfolio of clients whilst working autonomously and creating innovative media solutions to engage with the reader/consumer
• Meeting with clients and agencies on a regular basis and becoming a known ambassador of RWD
• Liaising with editorial, creative/design and online departments to ensure maximum exposure for the client and developing your full knowledge of the company structure
• Negotiate rates in line with sales objectives
• Keeping up to date with the industry and trends and staying aware of competitor activity

Key skills required:

• Must have a minimum of 2 year sales experience, or 1 year media sales background
• Must be a good communicator both written and verbally as well as being confident in presenting
• Excellent time management, positive and enthusiastic
• Self motivated and able to chase leads
• Excellent problem solving as well as having the ability to execute detailed business strategies for clients
• Can work well under pressure to tight deadlines
• Knowledge of the magazine/print market would be a bonus
