9. Broken Sword 1 & 2
These point and click adventure games put you in charge of a feisty yank called George Stobbart, who gets caught up in a mysterious conspiracy after the cafe he’s sat outside of explodes. He soon takes on the role of amateur investigator, scurrying around the Parisian sewers, breaking and entering, stealing ancient artefacts, chinning some assassin who points a Glock pistol in his face, and even intruding on a secret Illuminati meeting deep in the catacombs. These are hands down the best games I’ve ever played, sadly though the developers made a 3rd and 4th Broken Sword which are terrible.
