If you're one of the 4.5million people to have purchased FIFA 13 on any of its relevant consoles this week then you'll have almost certainly sacrificed minutes, hours and soon days, followed by weeks and if you're really committed; months to learning the first touch and new AI of the EA Sports title.
With more than 1million of the units sold in the UK within the first 48 hours of availability, our obsession with the title comes as no surprise, but the announcement that 800,000 people were all playing FIFA 13 online on September 30, a record for the most concurrent online users of any EA game to date, is pretty incredible.
An even more incredible fact about FIFA 13, is that there are still people in the world who play Pro Evolution Soccer.
