The week of The Dark Knight Rises' release, the first teaser for the Christopher Nolan produced and written Superman flick Man of Steel is released. Put those two facts together and add to them the fact that the film is being directed by Zack Snyder, that's Sucker Punch, 300 and Watchmen director Zack Snyder. So when you get a clip that looks more like a Shane Meadows film than a Nolan vision, you know you're being undersold. Just know that you're being undersold.
Two versions of the teaser have been released, one voiced by Superman's earth father Jonathan Kent as played by Kevin Costner and one voiced by his Kryptonian father Jor-El as played by Russell Crowe.
