Clarks’ Originals Wallabees
“Yo son we gotta take it and go get the Clarks man!” Ghostface excitedly spouts at the beginning of the Wu classic Glaciers Of Ice, and after seeing these new Wallabee boots you’ll be uttering the same thing. Clarks Originals have recruited cult graffiti artist Futura to design some one away Wallabees.
Futura who rose to fame in the early seventies, using the subways and streets of New York as his canvas, before progressing to the music scene where he designed artwork for the likes of The Clash and UNKLE.
Coming with it’s own limited shoe box, Futura’s design may not be the two-tone design idea that Ghost described, but his exclusive laser embossed print into the leather with Futura’s tag, topped with camouflage laces and the customary crepe sole are doing a lot!
The Clark’s Originals Futura will be available as a limited edition of 200 pairs in the UK. Retailing at £99, the Clark’s Original Futura show will be available from Schuh, Foot Asylum and RAN.
