Jay-Z and Santogold Go Hard [Video Inside]
Artist: Jay Z

Whilst Kanye West and Jay-Z were in the lab together working on Jigga’s forthcoming Blueprint 3 album which so far is entirely produced by Yeezy, they also came up with a little gem called Brooklyn Go Hard which is set to be the lead single off of the soundtrack to the highly anticipated Biggie biopic Notorious.

The track which also samples and features cool kid Santogold has also been picked up by Bono for his (Red)Wire website which supports people living with HIV in Africa. The site offers a wide range of musical content which can be purchased and added to your iTunes, with proceeds going towards helping the charity. (Red)Wire have teamed up with illustrator Evan Roth who has made a video for the track. Here’s what Roth had to say about being approached to helm the clip:

"Last week I was contacted to make a video for a new Kanye West produced Jay-Z song for RED & the Global Fund to Fight AIDS in Africa. It launched today (World AIDS Day) at red.msn.com. And while I’m happy to be able to help the cause I’m also more than a little bit excited about getting a chance to make something for the likes of Jay-Z and Kanye. I’ve been turning down client requests to use Typographic Illustration for 5 years in hopes that one day the phone would ring and it would be Hova.”

Here’s the innovative vid in all it’s glory:
