West: Newcastle Arrest

Reports are floating around that superstar Kanye West, in the UK on tour with his Glow In The Dark show, has been arrested in Newcastle.
The arrest is said to have happened after a scuffle with a photographer outside the Tup Tup club - Kanye was picked up by police at a nearby hotel in Gateshead. While police won't confirm it was West that was arrested, they did release this statement. ["A 31 year-old man was] released with no further action after an alleged incident at the Tup Tup nightclub."
A paparazzi photographer claimed he suffered a cut face (looks more like a scratched nose to us!), and bruising after West pushed his camera into his face and shouted, "Get the f---ing camera off me" after he left the club with a few girls. According to website TMZ, the photographer had recently made similar claims against a footie player, charges that were also dropped.
No comment from the West camp as yet, although he has been updating his blog today... but word of warning to snappers - keep the hay away from Kanye!
