As N-Dubz prepare to release a new single and album dedicated to Dappy’s late father. Rajveer Kathwadia puts your questions on parenthood to the Camden trio…

Dappy we were sorry to hear that your dad passed away recently. Have you dedicated any tracks to him?
Dappy: Our next single. It’s called Papa Can You Hear Me, which is the biggest song N-Dubz have ever come out with.
Tulisa: The whole album’s a dedication really, cos it’s called Uncle B. So it’s the biggest tribute ever.
Fazer: The single will probably be played at all funerals from now on.
D: It was emotional to make it though. When you hear it, you’ll hear me drop a tear at the end of it. He was our best friend. He took us off of the streets and showed us not to do badness.
T: So this track and album does make us feel like we’ve done our duty by him and he deserves nothing less than that.
D: But it’s also a song for anyone who might have lost someone to just think back about their loved ones.
What do you think you guys will be like as parents?
T: (Laughs) These two will be a disaster.
F: Nah, I’ll be a good dad. My child will look up to me.
T: I think I’d be a strict mother cos I want my child to grow up with morals and respect. They won’t be a d*ckhead running around spitting at people. I’m a bit of a mother hen. I look after these two and they’re hard to control. My actual kids will be angels compared to these two.

QUESTIONS FROM RWDMAG.COM:
Roxy: What do you think of all the waste of space baby fathers out there?
F: Put on a hood before the rain starts, is all I can say. Don’t have a baby unless you’re ready cos you will break a lot of hearts in the process – you will just let a lot of people down, including yourself.
T: No-one really has any morals anymore towards things like marriage. Men need to bring back respect cos there is none. But at the same time the women have to respect themselves.
E: What about those men who walk away from their parental responsibilities?
F: They’re cowards.
T: It’s just not taking responsibility for your actions. It makes you a weak person.
N-Dubz Are The Best: When would be the ideal time for you all to have kids?
T: I wanna have a kid when I’m ready to look after it. When I’m bored of going out and I’m ready to give my child the love it deserves and I’m ready to stay at home, because it’s unfair on the child not to give it your time if you’d clearly rather be somewhere else.
D: I feel like because I’ve lost my pops I wanna be a dad now to try and replace the family that I’ve lost. But to tell the truth, I’m not really ready yet.
