Wiley and Mark Ronson get XXX-Rated with Diesel

Italian fashion house Diesel are celebrating their 30th birthday this weekend with a series of exclusive simultaneous gigs across the globe that will feature performances from the likes of N*E*R*D, M.I.A. and Sam Sparro amongst others, as well as selling a special pair of denims created just for the three decade anniversary.
The London gig of the event will see the capital’s very own Wiley team up with transatlantic DJ/super-producer Mark Ronson at Matter. Situated next to the O2, Matter is London’s only specifically designed for the performance of music venue and we caught up with Eskiboy himself to find out what we can expect from his and Ronson’s performance as well as his relationship with Diesel.
“Me and Diesel are great cos they hooked me up ages ago when I did a performance in Camden one time,” he revealed enthusiastically. “See I like Diesel clothes – I get them even without Diesel ringing me, so when they do holler at me I get quite happy.”
And as for their exclusive set?
“I’m coming on with Mark Ronson but the crowd can expect a flattering performance as well as a chance to hear the new single Summertime which is out on Monday.” The duo have also teamed up for a track on Will’s forthcoming album See Clear Now. “We’ve got a track together on there called Cash In my Pocket which we might be performing but it might not be ready yet. You’ll find out on Saturday night.”
Those of you who wanna make it down better hurry to your nearest Diesel stockist as they are down to their last few. Tickets are a credit crunch happy £5 and as well as Ronson and Wiley the line-up also includes The View, New Young Pony Club and the Mystery Jets amongst others.
