After recognising that Sway has talent, Akon could be going a little grimier with his next talent scout. The Konvict Music owner has said that he wants to help Dizzee Rascal break America.
The R&B singer claimed he was a huge fan of the Boy In Da Corner’s grime-based background and suggested they work on a collab in the future.
"Dizzee is dope," he mentioned to the Daily Star. "I really like him. I think that whole grime sound, if it ever breaks outside of the UK, is going to be huge, it's so new and fresh."
He continued: "I want to be the one to bring it over to the US and one way would be to get Dizzee on my album. Give him my number."

no im not an ediat, goin to konvict music would probably mean sacrificin his sound and that is not what grime needs to be doing right now, whether dizzee is grime at the moment or not he is representing it and a watered down sound isnt gonna be good for the scene

Dizzee aint made grime since his first album anyway and akon can only help his career coz lets be real HE DID GET DROPPED!!!! Sways new album is S**T he should be ashamed of it and grime aint grime no more anyway- there are no GOOD clashes or nuthin anymore- everyones gone commercial- skepta, wiley,scorcher, chipmunk its such a shame
