For those of you who thought Kanye was ‘going down’ over the infamous airport incident that happened last Thursday, think again. If you’re still in the dark, ‘Ye was arrested late last week at LA International Airport on suspicion of vandalism after an altercation with a photographer. Marshall Lowe the cameraman in question said that West broke his camera worth more than £5,000.
After posting a $20,000 bail it seems Kanye himself didn’t actually break anything near £5,000 worth of stuff. In LA if you damage anyone’s property under $400 it is NOT a felony, it’s come to light the College Dropout actually broke a detachable flash… which is below the ‘straight to jail’ threshold.
In unrelated news Kanye’s fourth album (with the October bound first single, Love Lockdown), could be released sooner than we think…
Despite working on Jay-Z’s forthcoming Blueprint III we think we’ll see the as-yet-titled follow up to Graduation before the end of the year.
