After smashing the charts with American Boy and following up with No Substitute Love, Estelle is not letting up on her promotion game. She’s taking her sound around the globe and if she has to go to three cities in 48 hours, it’s all part of the job.
It’s all go for ‘Stelle and after jetting in from the Big Apple last night, she performed at the Mercury Music Prize shindig – which her second album, Shine, is nominated for alongside the likes of Adele and Radiohead. Today she’s off to Paris on the Eurostar only to come back for tonight’s MOBO Award nominations party held in Shoreditch’s Beach Blanket Babylon.
Estelle has previously won best newcomer at the 2004 MOBOs so let’s hope the Eurostar gets her to the ball on time. An insider going to tonight’s party told RWD, “I hope she makes it back tonight, I think she’ll definitely be nominated.”
