With everyone still bubbling to Tha Carter III, T-Pain has dropped some more news that will excite both Lil Wayne and rapper-ternt-sanger fans. It seems Got Money and Can’t Believe It were just the start of the partnership. Earlier in the year – last month in fact – Pain was very animated about the T-Wayne project, mentioning to a few sites that it’s definitely on the way.
Now the Tallahassee-bred artist is speaking (without the aid of digital voice processing) like it’s about to be unleashed real soon. “We’ve already got like 25 songs,” T-Pain revealed to Allhiphop.com when talking about his forthcoming album, Thr33 Ringz. “It’s going down after my album drops. Could be the beginning of next year, like January/ February.”
“If anything, we ain’t making no goals [for the date],” he explained of the release. “If we really gotta do it as an album and all those labels gotta work together, it’ll come out like, two years from now. [So] if it just falls into a bunch of leaks or if it falls into a mixtape, [that’s fine]. We might just take the songs we’ve got [and say]: ‘Here you go world. T-Wayne project. Right up. For free.’”
Free? Gratis? Non-paymentay? RWD like the sound of that.
