Artist: Ludacris

He admits to liking hip hop, but it seems even Barack Obama has limits when it comes to certain lyrics.

Obama's camp have just released a press statement expressing disapproval towards a new Ludacris song dedicated to the possible future president of the US. Politics: Obama Is Here shows love to Barack but disses Hillary Clinton and republican John McCain

Although Luda celebrates Barack's recent success (“The first is destined and it’s meant to be”), he has less nice things to say about Clinton. “Hillary hated on you/So that b**ch is irrelevant,” he spits before going in at John McCain. “McCain don’t belong in any chair unless he’s paralyzed/ Yeah I said it cause Bush is mentally handicapped/ Ball up all of his speeches and I throw ‘em like candy wrap.”

Though Obama has previously cited Luda as one of his favourite rhymers and has even had meetings in the past with the Atlanta rapper, this new single hasn't gone down well.

“As Barack Obama has said many, many times in the past, rap lyrics today too often perpetuate misogyny, materialism, and degrading images that he doesn’t want his daughters or any children exposed to,” says Barack's spokesperson Bill Burton. “This song is not only outrageously offensive to Senator Clinton, Reverend Jackson, Senator McCain, and President Bush, it is offensive to all of us who are trying to raise our children with values we hold dear. While Ludacris is a talented individual he should be ashamed of these lyrics.”

While 'Cris has yet to comment, we reckon he'll be feeling a bit like when your favourite teacher/ uncle tells you off in front of your mates for showing off. On the other hand, he probably knew it would cause fuss and is probably currently rush-readying his new CD!
