From the pioneers of Brighton's stupidly good club night Playgroup comes THEM. Taking all that is juicy and good from Playgroup the boys are combining the creme de la creme of dubstep and electro for a massive night at east London's Rhythm Factory. Headlining is one of dubsteps premier boys Plastician spinning old school 4x4 bangers as well as dubby goodness. Tickling the needles before the Croydon native is, 'king of the wobbly', Rusko. Tunes like Cockney Thug, Hammertime plus a few exclusive electro goodies are sure to have you dancing like a crusty crack head who has just found a voucher for tin foil. Ebola-no not the disease!- will be sampling a selection of his tracks expect anything from screaming breakcore to glitchy hip hop loop inspired dub! Of course no rave would be complete without the Chef who promises a couple of specials from his menu. The mighty and very excitable Tomb Crew will also be jumping and mcing with a thumping mix of ghetto tech, jungle and hyped up party tunes! Pirate Sound System a.k.a Don and Josh will be powering the room with their energetic mix of 2step and club vibes. Not forgetting Ed West representing the reggae massive who will be battling against Meerkat.
Room one pays host to a selection of bands including, My Panda Shall Fly a live electronic band who describe themselves as 'Italian pop'- confused? Their sound is a unique cullmination of ambient, funky synths with experimental and electronic bleeps! Also available for your listening pleasure are the seven piece collective, Junkyard Scientists somewhere between funk and bump listen out for tunes like Pocket Size and Mistress that are guaranteed party starters. Finally bad boy live dnb band Stoltz are dusting off their drum sticks to play bangers and mash style dnb. Not forgetting J*O*K*R who will be rolling out phat bassline and electro tunes.
Not to worry, if you suffer a sensory overload there is a chill out room.
Kicking off around 10pm the door tax is a mere £9.
