Jay-Z: I Got 99 Problems But Glastonbury 2008 Ain’t One

Glastonbury Festival has drawn to a close after days of incredible entertainment. From rock to rap, comedy to cabaret and all the rest in between, Worthy Farm once again lived up to its world class reputation despite the nay sayers concerns. Glasto went down very nicely this year with a side of Amy Winehouse beef and an extra helping of Jay-Z delight, these were just two of the performances that got Britain talking and overwhelmed the 2008 crowd.
As you can see below Jigga proved he’s got jokes, opening his set with Wonderwall.

"That’s my sense of humour, “claimed Jay-Z. “I have a sense of humour like a Brit' so I thought people would appreciate that. Noel Gallagher was one of the biggest detractors so I figured that was a cool way to start the show."
Also Winehouse failed to disappoint the tabloids and fans were jubilant when she got down from the stage and performed Me & Mr. Jones within touching distance from the crowd, and we all knew something was going to hit off! The security guards had trouble keeping up with the north London star and it wasn't long until a fan allegedly grabbed on to Amy while she was performing Rehab which provoked her to…[see 4 minutes 33 seconds in].
Saturday also brought us a one-away performance from Hot Chip who was surprisingly joined by Wiley. They covered Wearing My Rolex and Nothing Compares 2 U by their hero Prince during the set.
Sunday left Glasto-goers with the legendary Mark Ronson and the end to another welly-boot weekend.
