Amy Winehouse was taken to hospital after fainting at her North London home on Monday 16 June.
In a statement made by her U.S publicist, Tracey Miller, Amy had briefly fainted, but luckily "her manager's assistant stopped her from falling". The singer recovered, but her worried father, Mitch took her to hospital just as a precaution. The singer's publicist went on to mention that her doctors are not sure what caused her to faint, and she may be kept in over night for observation.
The troubled star had spent some time signing autographs for fans camped outside her home that afternoon before according to BBC News.
In a recent chain of events the Rehab singer was described by fans as being "in no condition to appear" when she arrived at the gala opening of an art gallery run by Daria Zhukova, girlfriend of Chelsea boss Roman Abromovich in Russia last Thursday.
