After bringing the world Tales of Da Hood and touching everyone with Ready She Ready - which Trevor Nelson played this morning as a tribute – RWD regret to inform you that Tubby T has passed away.

After suffering a stroke in 2004, the garage/ reggae vocalist - born Anthony Robinson - was hospitalised for seven months and in and out of hospital since. His manager stated that he never fully recovered.

“I Remember your first showcase, when you sang an acoustic version of Tales Of Da Hood, it gave me goosebumps!!!

There was not a dry eye in the house and I was blown away by your presence!

Rest in peace Tubby, even though your time was short you left a lasting impression.
