This weekend, the hugely successful Dance Currents 2008 season is coming to an end and to celebrate the UK’s thriving dance scene, the ultimate battle experience will take place at Stratford Circus.
'Stylefest' is a workshop and battle event created specifically for Hip Hop, Street dance and Funk style performers placing an emphasis on the underground dance scene in the UK. Workshops will be taught by leading dance artists such as the award winning Kenrick ‘H20’ Sandy, Krump junkies founder Kymberlee Jay, UK popping champ Alex ‘Mechanikool’ Peters, Nike Dance Clash winner Clara De Paris and super producer Michael ‘Mikey J’ Asante.

Workshops will be provided in techniques such as New Style, Popping, Krump and House and will enable both established and non-established dance performers to learn more about a chosen dance style or test the waters with a brand new style.
The event will be capped of on Sunday where '8 top' dancers will compete in the evening shows with performances from established dance companies specialising in the four styles. The event will finish with the awards, and the results will be posted on the website the next day. Don’t miss out on the ultimate UK battle experience
