Lovebox Weekend: Lovely Line-Up

It’s that time of year when we all begin to plan our festival outings. While the hardened among us do the whole darned circuit (though whether you actually live to tell those tales is another matter), most of us pick out one or two that we definitely want to reach.
Well, for the house, hip hop and good groove people among us, don’t forget about Groove Armada’s Lovebox Weekend on Saturday the 19, and Sunday the 20 July 2008 at Victoria Park, London.
Expect performances from Groove Armada, The Flaming Lips, Jack Penate, The Young Knives, Lightspeed Champion and The Nextmen as well as loads more to be announced. There’s also mojito tents, disco’s in a downtown Manhattan ‘70s tenement, a wild west saloon, farmers market, and loads of contortionist and escapologist type business.
Tickets are £38.50 + Booking Fee per day ticket or £65.00 + Booking Fee per weekend ticket. They’re available from Lovebox as well as Ticketmaster or by calling 08448 472 436.
There are a very limited number of NUS tickets available for purchase priced at £32.50 + Booking Fee available from Ticketmaster!
