Artist: Lil Wayne

He's the world's favourite rapper, but not even Weezy F Baby could avoid the stupidness of London town.

Arriving onstage at the Stratford Rex at around 10.50pm, the New Orleans rapper was given a rock star's welcome, as the 2000-odd crowd erupted into raptures. Arriving with a guitar slung round his neck to the sounds of Party Like A Rock Star, Weezy quickly lined up collab classics like Make It Rain, Duffle Bag Boy and This Is Why I'm Hot. It was during the preview of new track My Milly though that things turned sour.

It seems there was an altercation between one onstage person and Weezy's crew. Then, another individual appeared to take a run at Wayne, but most of the crowd seemed oblivious to the trouble onstage. They did did however notice when a plastic bottle thrown from the audience hit Wayne's chest. Stopping the show, he said something along the lines of 'You all should beat that n***a cos he just f*cked up the whole show.'

At this point, people started trying to jump onstage, with bottles and other objects raining down on the stage.

By now, Wayne unsurprisingly decided enough was enough and attempted to leave. However, he did return some 20 minutes later to try to finish the set.

A quick Soulja Boy dance, a snippet of Ride For My N****as, and once more onstage fighting broke out. Police who were positioned outside made no appearance, despite a few hundred people suddenly pouring out of the venue, and something like 10 fights inside. Nice one.

We just wonder whether Wayne will bother to come back. We wouldn't blame him if he didn't.
