R&B stars' dramatic turnaround…
Dozens of fans would have been delighted to hear Dru Hill announce their reunion last Thursday. However, their young hearts would have been broken when about 12 minutes later, the get-together was called off.
The ridiculous antics took place during an appearance by the four original members – the flamboyant Sisqo, Woody, Jazz and that other one who sounds like a Finnish telecommunications corporation – on an immensely popular local radio station in their incredibly vibrant hometown of Baltimore. It was Woody who provided the entertainment when he first stated that he was excited about having the “brotherhood” back, only to the announce that he would not be involved any further because he had other undoubtedly important focuses and the group did not need him.
This came as a shock to the other members. If they are thinking of continuing, it will be as a deadout duo as frontman Sisqo was reportedly extremely angry and stormed out of the studio… which was surely a very frightening experience.
The R&B world will be in mourning as Dru Hill - along with the likes of other deeply missed groups - will soon be in boyband heaven.
