Amy Winehouse is making headlines once more, after appearing with a puffy looking face at the weekend. However, rather than a careless accident after another heavy night, the singer's press officer has announced Wino is suffering from impetigo, a fairly skanky skin condition. If I remember rightly, a few of my mates at college got it after basically sharing pillows and generally being run down after a few too many nights out. However, kids can get it too and also those who play a lot of sport - perhaps Winehouse has been brushing up on some rugby?

"Amy has been diagnosed with impetigo which she's been told can be highly contagious. Because of that she's been put on antibiotics and may have to stay home alone for the next few days," said her rep.

Impetigo causes red sores, that can ooze fluid. It's usually distinguished by a yellowy crust around the mouth and nose. Sexxxxxy!

We hope Amy gets better soon. One of my friends who had it kept going out etc, and couldn't get rid of the sucker for weeks - so stay in and get rid Wino, we say.
