Amy Will Do Grammy's... Kinda
Artist: Amy Winehouse

She may have been knocked back for a US visa, but Winehouse isn't letting a little lting like 15,000 miles stand in her way of showing and proving to the US why she deserves to be a winner at this year's Grammy awards.

Broadcast live from a London studio, Amy will make her hugely anticipated return to the stage via satellite link-up to the 50th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 10.

Amy is nominated for an amazing 6 Grammy Awards at Sunday’s ceremony, including Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Female Performance for 'Rehab', Album of the Year, Best New Artist, and Best Pop Vocal Album for Back to Black. This is unrivalled for a female British artist.

While she had hoped to join the star-studded line-up in person in Los Angeles, she is thrilled to have the chance to be a part of the show.

The following is from an official press release:

“I’m raring to go and really excited to be performing at my first Grammy Awards,” says Amy, “I’d like to thank everyone for their support over the last couple of weeks. I’m really sorry I can’t be there but I appreciate that I'm being given a second chance via satellite. ”

To prepare for the performance, Amy will be leaving the rehabilitation clinic today where she has been a resident for two weeks. She is feeling great, looking healthy and looking forward to doing what she does best.

She will remain under full medical supervision and her treatment will continue as normal.
