Jay-Z`s Las Vegas 40/40 Club in Trouble?

And it’s only been open for a month…
It seems being a mogul has its strains and Jigga’s latest venture is having some teething problems. After opening a 40/40 Club in Las Vegas last December – days before the New Year – Shawn Carter’s chain is possibly nearing its first break. In the month (and a bit) since opening its doors it seems 100 employees have either walked out or been sacked. The club has been bombarded with reports of unprofessional conduct, bad work ethics and the repeated use of the ‘N’ word.
Las Vegas Weekly magazine has also revealed disgruntled employees have gone public with their complaints. Club manager Ramon Mata has dismissed these problems and says it’s all part of the industry. "As with all new business, you find out in your first few days of operations what staffing levels are needed. We adjusted accordingly and followed all rules and regulations in terms of employees that were let go."
