Wiley's Back
Artist:
Wiley
People often ask whether artists use the RWD forum, and we try to tell them, Yes!
But it's rare an MC posts under their real name; but then again, Wiley isn't like most MC's.
Eskiboy hit the boards last night to warn fans that 2008 will be a lot. Don't watch the typo's, their his, not ours!
"i don't regret nothing i just do music so this year the level is goin up beyond the children, beyond any waste mcs. the level is goin up and 1 more thing - every1 is trying to make there area rise. watch this **** every1s area its about what you can do yourself not you and your stupid area the council own our area not us."
He also addressed the Trim battle by saying 'Flow Dan and Roll Deep have to take out Trim and the circle.' Flow Dan apparently didn't show to battle Trim last weekend, but he has now put out a track, which can be heard on Wiley's MySpace, alongside Riko's dub for Goodz.
Personally, we're beyond bored of these beefs. They don't sell records, they don't create heat beyond a day or two and they serve only to make the UK scene less and less powerful. Once MC's realise that they'd get far-longer lasting publicity out of working together, than against each other, maybe people might start making money?
Imagine these collabo's:
Wiley and Dizzee
Wiley and Goodz
Wiley/ Roll Deep and Lethal
Dizzee/ Sway/ Wiley/ Kano/ Lethal/ Tinchy/ Skepta/ JME/ Ghetto - a Pow for 2008.
What do you think; is it time to forget the beef and move on, or do you want to see more?
