Personally I think Trust Me is some of your best work yet, but apparently some of the critics and consumers have given it some very harsh reviews, to put it nicely. How do you handle that criticism, especially when it seems to be based more on a personal dislike for you, for some reason, instead of on your music itself?

With the present year coming to an end,

When you have finished a new album and it goes out, how do yo feel the night before? Can you sleep? What do you think about? A lot of people will listen to your songs, your melody and your words few hours later... It must be a magical feeling.

Strange how many under acheivers dare try and hate. If you can say that you werte the youngest Blackman to reach number One then you maight just be able to say something negative. Craig, you've talked about your R&B and hip-hop musical influences and inspirations in many of your interviews. You also grew up during the boom of R&B and hip hop acts of the 90s(Boyz II Men, Kane, Tupac, Snoop Dog, SWV, After 7, Total, Troop, Kut Klose, Notorious BIG, etc.) and the general chart topping movement of R&B music during that time. Talent like this have carved a mark into the history of music. As the first decade of 2000 is nearing the end, the music industry has seems to have strayed far away from musicians who are not prepackaged and over-processed, thrown into the spotlight for one or two hits and then disappear into the past. As one of the few artists today who has established his longevity in the music business and made his mark as an artist of substance, what is your true and honest opinion of the state of R&B/Hip Hop music today?

Why are you such a tosser?

I think all your songs have great stories behind them and have been relatable life experiences for me personally. Are most of these songs about an event in your life as well? and dont listen to the haters because they cant take away your talent and nobody can tear you down without your permission, so keep ur head up and thanks for the great music.
