Kanye West's publicist Patricia Green has confirmed the cause of death of Dr. Donda West.
As had been reported on the Internet, Dr. West died from complications arising from plastic surgery. She was said to be undergoing a stomach procedure at the time of her death at an LA hospital.
Ms. Green told CNN that West's 58-year-old mother died on Saturday, "as the result of complications from a cosmetic surgical procedure."
The family have asked for privacy during this time of grief. No other statements have been released.
Once more, our thoughts are with the West family...

I just want to say my thoughts and prayers go out to Kanye and his family. I honestly feel his pain, I lost my mother this past February to, its hard and I know what Kanye is feeling right now. I just want to say keep your head up, and now everything you do, do it for yourself and your mother.

my condolences for kanye. she seemed a wonderful and supportive mother. at least she was able to live her life to its fullest

My heart goes out to Kanye and his family. Your mother might have departed from this earth but not your heart. I didn't know her as well as you did but she seemed like an involved mother far as your career goes. So stay strong that what she wants you to do

How many more peeps are gonna start going on about how worried they are that he might cancel his tour,his mum died last weekend he dont start touring the uk 4 another week,thats 2 weeks 2 sort urself out.Any normal person would be back at work the nxt day.He is a proffesional so why should he cancel.R.I.P n all but people should look at this and really have a 2nd fort at having surgery on ur body 2 look different,its wrong.pz
