CONEL Open Day - Wednesday November 7th
Artist: RWD

Anyone who is considering taking a career-focused course can find out about different industries from professionals who are leading names in their field. The College of North East London (CONEL) is holding an open day on Wednesday, November 7th between 4pm and 7pm and it’s open to prospective students of all ages.

Kiss FM DJ Logan Sama will be on hand to talk about radio production, while those interested in video production can speak to Mo, who directs Lethal B’s videos. DJ Target, frpm Roll Deep and also a BBC 1Xtra producer, will give prospective students a picture of a career as a sound engineer, which has lead into other fields.

Would-be fashionistas can get the low-down on the industry from top designer of Puma trainers, Barry Brown. Make-up artist, Mel Arter of the Sunday Times Style Magazine, who works with top photographers on style magazine shoots and commercials, will tell prospective students about what they can learn – and how high they can fly – by following a similar career. Gary McCann is a former championship basketball player, who now has a successful career as a youth coach. He’ll be talking to people who are interested in taking one of CONEL’s many sport courses.
