Weezy F was arrested on Saturday evening in Idaho.
The I Can't Feel My Face rapper was approached by police after he finished a concert at Boise's Qwest Arena.
He was arrested for being a Fugitive in the state of Idaho, because of an arrest warrant issued in Fulton, County Georgia on 14 August 2006 for drug possession charges. A maid is said to have seen weed in Wayne's hotel room and when searched by police, they also found 60 pills of Alprazolam and 59 pills of hydrocodone.
Weezy, real name Dwight Michael Carter Jr., was taken into custody on a felony warrant for felony possession of drugs, where he will remain until later today.
Wayne was also arrested earlier this year in New York after police apparently witnessed him smoking weed on his tour bus. After searching the bus, they found a gun and charged him and a friend Lil' Wayne with criminal possession of a weapon and possession of marijuana.
In related news, US police continue to insist there is no such thing as the 'Hip Hop Police.'
