Britney's, Er, Comeback!??! (video inside)

Britney Spears made her official comeback at the MTV VMA Awards last night and RWD can report it was, well, lackluster!
A miming Britney barely even danced during her performance of her new Danjahand's produced track Gimme More.
The performance, which opened this year's awards in Las Vegas, had already had mixed previews, with many wondering whether Spears could still cut it, in light of her recent 'issues.' Musical director Timbaland was also said to be very dubious about Britney being the opening act. Meanwhile Kanye West is reported to have said" “I can’t believe she would perform. She hasn’t had a hit record in years.”
Could Britters still pull it off, we wanted to know?
The unfortunate answer appeared to be a resounding NO. Dressed in what amounted to basically a bra and knickers, the mother of two let her 8million (ish) backing dancers do all the work as she vaguely moved around a bit.
It was all a far cry from her performances of yesteryear. Whether of not you liked her music, you couldn't deny the girl had dance skills.
Unfortunately, tonight at least, she was unable to live up to her past successes.
Check the clip here and voice your opinions below. And before you all start cussing about RWD doing a story about Britney, admit that Toxic was a BIG tune. There's plenty of undercover Spears lovers out there, and we all know it!

I don't know why people are hating on her belly... I/ they still would!!! It's the STIFF performance which gives me jokes. It's like she was a waxwork model of herself.
