He may be riding high in the charts, but Timothy 'Timbo' Mosley is looking at a couple of legal issues right now. In addition to himself and the Game being sued by Saregama India regarding the track Put You On The Game, he and Jay-Z have just been named in a suit regarding Jigga's '99 classic Big Pimpin'.

Copyright co-owner Osama Admed Fahmy claims that Tim illegally used a melody from the song Khosara, Khosara, which was written by composer Baligh Hamdi and performed by Egyptian star Abdel-Halim Hafez way back in 1957.

The action comes just days after the Virginia producer was served papers regarding the Game song Put You On The Game. Saregama is claiming the song violates copyrights owned by the Indian-based firm, one of India’s largest recording companies.

Saregama is also one of the oldest recording company's in India and owns almost 50% of all the music ever recorded in the country.

Unfortunately for Timbo and Game, Saragama are about their business. A few years back they successfully DJ Quik, Universal Music Group and Interscope for an undisclosed amount after Quik illegally sampled Thoda Resham Lagta Hai, by Lata Mangeshkar on Truth Hurt's Addictive smash

Guess it goes as a warning to all beat-makers - make sure your paperwork is tight, cos that sample may seem obscure, but Big Brother is always watching and waiting to get that cheque.
