50 Guns Vs. Jimmy Iovine
Artist: 50 Cent

Another day, another 50 Cent story; someone give Fiddy's PR a raise. Talk about working overtime!

Well, the latest press release in order to desperately plug his forthcoming third album - sorry, the latest scandal today revolves around another leaked track/ mixtape tune called Southside. On the record, 50 spits the following incendiary lyrics: "People think Jimmy Iovine my boss/ N***a f*uck Jimmy Iovine n***a, I'm from 134st n***a I ain't got no motherf*cking boss." Ohh, girls, put your handbags down! And hold it down with the N-Word homie, damn!

For those that don't know, Jimmy Iovine is the CEO of Interscope Records, home to some of the world's biggest artists including Timbaland, Nelly Furtado, Pussycat Dolls, Eminem, Pharrell, Gwen Stefani and many, many more.

50 is supposed to be mad at the label, and presumably Iovine, for leaking the Robin Thicke track, as well as the general promotion of his third album Curtis. The problem perhaps lies in the fact he's put out four not-so-great tracks (though I do like Ayo Technology, I can't lie) that the public just ain't really feeling.

Perhaps 50 needs to accept his popularity is finally on the wane. I'll guess we'll see in three weeks when he and Kanye go head-to-head on their respective third albums...
