Depending on which reports you believe - The Mirror and The Sun or 'proper' papers - Amy Winehouse has either had a drugs overdose or collapsed owing to "severe exhaustion."

The 23 year old was rushed to a North London hospital yesterday after falling ill just hours after being nominated for three MTV awards. She has cancelled concerts in Norway and Denmark as a result.

A skeletal - and we mean, bone thin - Amy was taken to hospital where she was reportedly given an adrenaline shot and had her stomach pumped. Her management are explaining the cause as 'severe exhaustion' (why would that cause you to have your stomach pumped tho?) however the tabloids are reporting otherwise, claiming Winehouse was treated for an overdose. As with all of these stories, there's a good old 'source close to the friend.' This 'bosum buddy' had the following to say: “We’ve been terrified something like this would happen for months.Amy has lost the plot and her partying is out of control. We are praying this is the wake-up call she needs.”

Amy is said to have been rushed to hospital by husband Blake Fielder-Civil and a female friend. The tabloids also reported that upon reaching reception desk, Winehouse fell to the floor. Treatment was administered later that evening.

Amy has since been discharged and is said to be at home recuperating.
