Kanye Gets Big Names For Fall Out Boy Re-Remix
Artist:
Lil Wayne
Half a year ago Kanye West leaked a remix to Fall out Boy’s number one single This Ain’t A Scene, It’s An Arms Race, but aside from a little buzz on the good old internet, nothing more was heard of the track. Six months later the track is back, and it looks like Kanyeezee has taken Sway’s advice and “redesigned the redesign” by remixing his version of the song with a whole bunch of new MCs. Thrown into the mix this time around are Lupe Fiasco, Paul Wall, Travis McCoy from Gym Class Heroes, Tyga who is signed to FOB bassist Pete Wentz's Decaydance Records, and nearly everyone’s favourite rapper right now (including Kanye) Lil’ Wayne. As you can imagine the track is big. Look out for it in our audio section very soon.
Whilst we are talking about the Louis Vuitton Don and Weezy Baby, the pair have also teamed up for Kon’s forthcoming Graduation after Kanye admitted that Wayne is his favourite rapper out right now. Speaking to MTV, the ridiculously tattooed Birdman Jnr. shed a little light on their sessions in the studio together. “The session was mostly like West playing a piece for me, giving these ideas and stuff. He gets here, plays one, tells me the idea for that one. Then it'll be about a few minutes later, then to another one. That's really a session with him. I just gathered all the music and went back to my cave and done what I have to do to it.”
